Today we are happy to announce the first successful transaction of a Bancomat Pay user paying at a Bluecode merchant in the middle of Vienna. Bluecode and TWINT users may now use their app in the Bancomat Pay network when visiting Italy.
Bancomat Pay users are now able to pay with their Bancomat Pay app at Bluecode and TWINT merchants and vice versa. We now managed to enable multilateral interoperability by adding the Italian solution Bancomat Pay to the current setup forming the Alpine Corridor at EMPSA.īy connecting all systems to a central gateway (hosted by Secure Payment Technologies GmbH) all three domestic payment solutions became interoperable with each other.
Yesterday we raised interoperability based on #EMPSA specifications to a next level! You recall we first started with bilateral interoperability in form of the currently running friends and family phase between TWINT (CH) and Bluecode (AT, DE).
